pd capture clip v3 is way too massive in my view for an M6 II + 18-150 is only 700g. i have no doubt a quick attach system like "buddy lok" - made from tough nylon66 - will securely hold it. maybe a risk in truly arctic conditions, but normally i don't really go to such extremes ...
while i like neoprene it would not be a good material for my intended use, it is too soft/clings to camera, it would not come out of pouch quick and easy.
leather i don't like or use except for shoes. it does not age well, does not handle wet/water well, and i don't like "patina" and am not willing to meticulously take care of it.
material Lowepro uses for their Dashpoint pouches would be best for my intended use. if only they'd make 1 size bigger than Dashpoint 30. i already wrote to their product mgmt, and they answered quickly and nicely, but with a clear "no".
Gotcha
