Info: Fitting lens pouch for XF 35 mm f/1.4
2

Hi there

This is a continuation of my thread, The best fitting pouches for my lenses (55-200, Laowa, KamLan).

I am sharing this because I always find it time consuming to search for lens pouches. This is mostly because many sellers and manufacturers do not indicate the internal dimensions of their lens bags, or they do not clearly state whether the dimensions they list for their products are internal or external. It's a shame.

So I found the "Tycka lens pouch" in size S a really well fitting pouch for the XF 35 mm f/1.4 with the mounted lens hood (I never take the hood off). I bought the pouch from Amazon.de.

Lens with hood and caps:

  • Height, 9 cm
  • Max diameter, 6.6 cm.

Tycka lens pouch, size S

  • External height, ca. 11.5 cm
  • Internal height, ca. 9.5 cm
  • External diameter, ca. 9 cm
  • Internal diameter, ca. 6 cm.

The lens must be put upwards as shown on the photos. I cannot really put it downwards, this would need a little force, and the hood would fall off every time I take it out. So it is a perfect fit.

Tycka lens pouch, size S and the XF 35 mm f/1.4.

Tycka lens pouch, size S, with XF 35 mm f/1.4 standing upright.

Rgds,

Martin
