TL;DR: any suggestions for smallest possible bag for EOS M6 II with 18-150 attached, top-loading, attachable to backpack strap. THANKS!

Long Version:

Currently using LowePro Dashpoint 30 poch which tightly fits my EOS M + 18-150. Now upgrading to M6 II, which will not fit. Unfortunately LowePro has no larger size Dashpoint.

Lookign for an absolutely minimalist bag/pouch. No side pockets, not much padding nor wheather protection (I just use a regular freezer bag when needed), but want to attach it to backpack strap = vertical! Many bags only have belt loop = horizontal. Brand of bag/pouch is secondary.

Also considering LowePro Format TLZ 10 bag, but it is already a bit "more bag" than I would ideally want.

Peak Design Capture Clip v3 offers no scratch/bump protection at all.

I think the sticking point is the "vertical" requirement. About every case I know of has a horizontal "belt loop" type loop in back. Maybe you could fashion /modify one for your usage.

The bag that I have that's a perfect fit for the M6ii + 18-150 (lens hood in stowed position) would be the Case Logic "High Zoom" case. It's not a form-fitting case though, because it does have ample padding and side pockets (for extra batt and EVF)...

A very nice bag for very little money!

Good luck!
