Is this level of chromatic aberration (if that's what it is) normal on an EF-M 18-150?

Is this level of chromatic aberration (if that's what it is) normal on an EF-M 18-150?

Firstly, forgive what is probably a very beginner's question, I don't have a lot of experience with photography other than with an ancient Nikon D60 and only ever using the 18-55 kit lens.

I recently acquired an EOS M50 with the 18-150 lens. I'm quite pleased with the pictures I'm getting, but I'm not sure if what I'm seeing is indicative of a problem with the lens.

Zoomed in, the petals on this picture quite clearly have a "red edge" on the left and a "blue edge" on the right. The swans also have a blue edge on the top side and red on the bottom of their feathers. The effect is visible in the RAWs so it's not a JPEG artefact.

(It's even more obvious with pictures of stars - the look like little french tricolours, red on one side and blue on the other. I know it's hardly an astro lens...)

Now I know that CA is expected to be worst with the lens fully open, with strong contrasts, and at max zoom, so this is probably a real worst case scenario. But is it meant to look like this?

Lastly, I know that there's supposedly a way to correct for this in DPP using the lens info, and an in-camera setting, but I'm not having much success with it - at least for eliminating this effect.
