Agree the RF85f2 is much sharper than the EF85f1.8

It is not the lens for sports, that's for sure, but if you want beautiful portraits, this will more than do the job. I traded my EF 85 1.8 for it (of course I still had to pay a lot for the RF lens), and never regretted the trade. And I think quite highly of the EF 85 1.8. It isn't as good a lens as its RF relative, except for focus speed.

I very much agree that the RF85f2 is much sharper than the EF85f1.8. They really should have put the USM focus motors in the RF85f2.  I ran a comparison back when I go the RF85f2. https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/64699576. The RF85f2 looked good until I got the RF24-70f2.8L.
