I recently picked up a Coolpix A. Since I did my Fuji X100V has sat gathering dust. Picture quality is excellent, and the complaints about the AF speed don't really affect how I use it - for portraits, street and occasional landscape. The Fuji is about twice the size and therefore half as pocketable, and so often stays home. I take the CPA with me wherever I go, including when I am out with my FX Nikon.

I wouldn't shoot sports or birds on the wing with it, but for it's intended uses, it's still very good in 2021. That sensor and lens combination is glorious. I detect you might have watched the Matthias Burling video reviewing the camera. I think he sums it up really well: a very strong contender among it's competition. If the price is right, I'd go for it.
