I have the basic S20 and do not have the Gcam port that I know of on my S20. Sounds interesting. You do have Lr Mobile on your phone? I have not tried that but do my editing on a 27" NEC monitor usually. I can see where Lr Mobile would be handy at times though. I do have Snapseed on my phone.

You have a Snap dragon 865 S20 or Exynos?

Gcam ports to snapdragon pretty well (mostly the main sensor is never an issue).
Keep in mind, it is applying HDR+ and its AI algorithm, so what you end up with does not have a lot of post processing left to be done. Things like kids parties, snapshots at the beach, you know what I mean, day to day stuff, I would recommend using GCam. if it is however something you want to take the best quality RAW image to later edit, id use the manual mode, use a tripod if possible, then you can do your own HDR if that is your thing. But whatever comes out in RAW you can then post process to your hearts content. In fact it is not hard to apply the Pixel Gcam look, I had a website that showed what to edit in post process to get a similar look from a jpg or raw. But really, RAW should be about your Art, GCam is about your day to day.
I have both light room mobile and snapseed. I only use snapseed now. Only because I fully understand its language/naming conventions, it is more powerful. However the paid version of Lightroom is a better workflow manager and still a good editor. Great for applying corrections to your camera/phone images, then applying presets if you want, saving to where you want, uploading to the cloud etc.
I occasionally edit mobile photos on my LightRoom desktop, but usually Im busy doing my APSC and FF camera images on my desktop.
Hope that helps

It does and thank you.  I just found this after 5 months for some reason.
