It depends what you consider high prices?
I remember looking a few weeks ago and seeing some for around £300, which to me seemed quite reasonable.
Of course, these are all "Buy It Now" prices … still listing 'cos no-one has bought them
What you need to do is check on the prices actually paid for cameras, which you'll probably find is quite significantly lower!
The listings I posted were all sold items
Marky are we talking about NX cameras infected by covid? A study funded by Bill Gates foundation, discovered hat covid can lower the Megapixels of your camera by 25%. If we are talking about the Uk Variant of covid, it can goes up to 75% (what are your insights on this?!!?), LOLOLOLOL . So be careful you guys...
Maybe that's why there was a guy here that didn't let me try his NX500, because he was afraid of covid... LOL Pitty, because it was a great deal
It's fine as I resize all my photos to 0.1mp anyway. That way I can fit them all onto a handful of floppy disks.
Oh Marky, you know how nostalgic I am... talking about floppy disc drives, how dare you, my friend? LOL I still remember how by just doing a hole, we could transform a low density floppy disc into a high density one, remember? I remember coming home to play with my Amiga, it used only low density floppy discs, those blue ones 3.5....
But what about tapes? I'm a son of the Spectrum generation. Is Sir Sinclair still alive?
I remember waiting for a game to be loaded, while reading a Your Sinclair magazine, and hearing New Order on the radio... I can still hear that spectrum sound loading images, and games, on my tape recorder... Those were the good days, playing School daze, warm at home, while it was raining outside, Manic Miner... And dreaming about going to Enlgand and meet all my idols, like this one:

PS: Did you see? FC Porto won against Juventus... Yeah!!!!
Haha I remember tapes well, and I had a sinclair spectrum ZX. Kids these days have got it good, my son has a nintendo Switch and I would have given one of my arms for something that good when I was young. And Spotify...listen to almost any track whenever you want, instead of having to either record songs off the radio or spend extortionate money on CDs!
My son has also a Nintendo Switch. They should meet But you know what? He loves pixel art. He loves old 8bit graphics LOL Do you remember those point and click old Sierra games? Like Space Quest? Kings Quest, LArry? Or lucas art? Like Monkey Island, etc...
