Use single shot S mode, AF Wide/Tracking, set release priority to FOCUS.

Using this method you can shoot from the hip and capture in focus images of moving street subjects as you walk.

You need to remember to press the shutter all the way down in one smooth motion.

Not half way to focus, then the rest later - all the way in one smooth push.

The camera will find the subject, focus on it, and grab an in-focus shot - no viewfinder or LCD required.

This has worked all the way back from the original X100, all the way to the latest X100V.
