A7C Shooting In Crop Mode

I have a nice selection of FE lenses but also want to occasionally shoot some of my APS-C lenses on my A7C (crop mode).

Well, this morning I tried my E 16-55mm f/2.8 G on my A7C and evaluating my results. I shot in uncompressed RAW, post processed in PS CC ACR and saved out as jpg.

My uncompressed RAW files were an average of 21,800KB.

My saved jpg files were an average of 9,000KB.

Even with the small jpg file I am pleased with the results.

I will again experiment with my 18-135mm (makes a nice combo with A7C).

I respect the (Professionals and Aspiring / Passionate Enthusiast) requiring the 42MP and 61MP cameras with heavy GM lenses but I'm not in that lane.  What I am doing and enjoying is totally different (I migrated from A99 with several heavy ZA lenses because I could not manage the weight any more and now very comfortable with A7C).

Below shot on A7C w/E 16-55mm f/2.8 G in crop mode.

I enjoy content, simplicity and light weight: A6500 and A7C w/Sony + Zeiss + G Glass
