New EIZO wide-gamut monitor - Windows 10 settings help!
1

Hi All,

I've got myself into a (mental) pickle trying to understand what settings I need for my new CG247X monitor and Windows 10, so I can use both the wide gamut in Photoshop, but also have 'normal' sRGB programs and web surfing display correctly.

There was an excellent thread in DP review a while back:

Looking at this, I *think* that as long as I create a calibrations for the monitor that are native (Adobe RGB) and sRGB, I should be able to switch them using ColorNavigator as long as the USB cable is conencted, and this will automatically update the Windows 10 System Setting.

In other words, when I want to use Photoshop, I use ColorNavigator to switch system and monitor to native, and when I want to surf the web, use Outlook, Excel etc etc, I switch back to sRGB.

Have I got this correct? Or, can sRGB be emulated from the native profile once it is created? I would be creating the profiles using the internal probe.

Would be grateful for any help! Hope this makes sense.
