Some Pelicans Shots
11

Continuing with my trip to Galveston yesterday, I shot a bunch of flying bird shots with the E-M1 Mark III acquired little over a year ago. The results really laid to rest the question whether the improvements worth the upgrade from the Mark II. Case closes! The Mark III C-AF was very responsive with my old 4/3 50-200 SWD. I never could get shots like these with the Mark I or Mark II.

Some may argue that pelicans are easy large birds to shoot, flying or not. Well, I never could get the bird eyes or the head feather color like in these shots. Well done Olympus! I can't imagine what would be like with even better body such as the A-M1X and proper Pro lenses. At that price ranges, I can't afford that anyway, so make do with what I have:)
