Telezoom 55-200 or 70-300 ??

Hi All,

I am looking for telezoom for my X-T30  camera, mostly for old race cars competitions,  my experience is 35eq 300 mm  focal lenght is enough....

Up to now there were two options : 55 - 200 or 50-230, the later one is lighter, plastics, cheaper, but according many articles very good. 55-200 is now for very good price - about 490 € new one (compering to 70-300 for 700 €).

I bought X-T30 in set with 18-55 zoom, I purchased 16-80  which is much better for my needs and to me also seems the optics is better and focusing is speedy... I sold 18-55, I need not it more.

Regarding this experience maybe the better choice is to purchase 70-300 (2021)  on place of 55-200 (2013). But the question is  the really experience of any member here ?

Maybe one interesting note - 70-300 is the first Fuji telezoom with possibility to use Fuji Teleconverter. I think this is a mark of really excelent optics ! This is a reason of my idea to purchase it...

Please any advice  according your experience ?
