I have both the Canon 800D and T7i that I purchased on Ebay. Either of the two kit lenses will work. That would be the Canon 18-55mm STM or 55-250mm STM lenses. I'm also using a Canon 18-135mm USM lens and a Tamron 150-600mm lens. The first three lenses are EF-S mount and the last one mentioned is an EF mount. The Canon Lens forum here can also help you.
As was mentioned, any of the EF or EF-S mount lenses should be fine. Some are better than others. You can read about those on reviews or ask people here about their experiences.
The inexpensive 55-250mm STM lens does well. Since it appears you are new to using the newer Canon DSLR cameras, you might want to start with one of the cheaper kit lens models that I described first. They will be more than adequate.
I agree that the Canon 18-55mm STM and 55-250mm STM lenses would be a great place to start. Both very versatile with good image quality and quite inexpensive.
