National Wildlife Refuge Trip
6

I recently found out that there has been a National Wildlife Refuge in my state for a long time, and I'm embarrassed I never knew about it, especially since I love photographing wildlife!  I'm on the east coast, and the refuge is along the back bays of a major ocean city.

I was able to get some pics of birds I've never seen before, as well as some other pics of birds in which I've been unable to get at a decent range.  In all, I saw birds such as the eastern bluebird, mallard ducks, Bufflehead, black duck, Great Blue Heron, Hooded Merganser, Mute Swan, Brant, Peregrine Falcon and Bald Eagles.

Here are a few pics from my trip.  I didn't realize I took over 1,600 pics, so a lot of post processing still left.
