The other day I was fortunate to have these Whistler ducks lined up for a nice shot. They were back-lighted by the sun reflecting off the water below them and shadowed by the trees over them. So, I spot metered and shot in RAW. Below are two of the same image: One processed with PSE 18-ACR and the other is just a conversion from original RAW to jpg without processing.  I sort of like both: The jpg conversion from RAW is pretty much how the scene looked (a little too dark, perhaps,) and I find it "interesting." The processed image certainly shows more of what's "behind" the scene, but I don't think it brings up the "true" feeling of the scene.  Anyway, I'd appreciate to hear what some of you guys think. Thanks.
