Are you able to access the WBGain and the Custom WB matrices in the meta-data or can you post an X3F somewhere accessible?

not sure if this work

No, the displayed image has been re-done and protected by Google.

I didn't know google photo could open x3f files

Probably extracts the full-size JPEG from the X3F, but I seem to recall that Picasa would open SD9 files - perhaps using DCraw.

But DCraw does not convert SD15 files (filtered or not) correctly - just creates a bluish low-saturation raw composite image.

I don't have a website so you can download∞

how do I access the WBGain and the Custom WB matrices in the meta-data?

Oh boy ...

First download and install an app known here as "Kalpanika" ...

https://github.com/Kalpanika/x3f/releases/tag/0.57

If that goes well, somewhere there will appear a command-line file "x3f_extract.exe".

Move a copy of your X3F file to wherever the command-line file is.

In the command-line window "cmd.exe" type:

x3f_extract -meta SDIM0903.X3F

A file SDIM0903.X3F.meta is stored.

Windows can open it:

HTH

I will take a look on that

are you on linked in? maybe I can send the x3f file there as a pm
