70-300mm - Finally an actual review

I've been looking for a review of this lens since it came out, but only found a bunch of unboxing and "hands on review": Taking it out of the box, showing a few low resolution or compressed images and saying "ah it feels really good and looks very good, focus is {insert positive adjective}, buy it with my affiliate link below."

Finally there's a review, on DPReview's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQfdUydPuiM

Short version is:

+ Good sharpness, even at the edges on 300mm

+ Impressively close focus

+ Very little Longitudinal CA

+ Very little focus breathing

+ Smart set of switches and features, including soft lock at 70mm.

- Ugly bokeh

- Plastic build for the price

I'd like to see testing of vignette and distortion in RAW files and how it handles strong backlighting, as well as some direct comparisons with the 55-200 and 100-400. But at least we have some third party information now.

Anyone convinced to buy or not buy from the review, or waiting for more?
