Fuji has some pretty descent film simulations to mimic various color films.  Programs like Capture One and Lightroom have those multiple curves and presets to emulate various color film.  Programs like Silver Efex Pro have a vast array of presets and simulations for black and white films.  Analog Efex Pro2 also by DXO have a large selection of color film presets and simulations. Both the above also simulate the effect of classic lenses along with films.

It reality there is no loss of creative tools to emulate the beauty of classic films from any of the XTrans or Bayer sensors beyond what Fuji offers in their Jpeg simulations.  Although Fuji's jpeg film simulations are probably better than most.  After I work my images over - I see no difference between the XTrans versions.
