Long exposure noise reduction & Flash

Hi

I'm doing an astropanorama next weekend and would appreciate some advice

I understand all the basics and have done panoramas before.

Equipment:

D610, 20mm 1.8g, nodal slide, pan head etc

It's a dark sky area and will be new moon, so very little natural light. Also a dark rock landscape. I can't shoot before full darkness unfortunately.

I'll be shooting the foreground first at around 8 pm  then the MY at around 4 am

For the foreground pan (4 shots) I was planning to focus and shoot at f4.0 ISO 800 for around 8 minutes (-8EV) to get some of the background rock detail then fire a speedlight at lowish power to illuminate a foreground subject.

The 8 minute exposure will generate a lot of hot pixels so I was planning on shooting with LENR on

Are there likely to be issues with using LENR with a partial flash illuminated scene?

Thanks
