I was running a test roll of Fujicolor Superia X-Tra400 through a Minolta H-Matic 9 I'd just acquired back last week when the Central Pennsylvania mountains were frozen solid. A late afternoon sun was doing interesting things to the frozen trees. Shot at various angle from almost directly at the sun(in this case) to well off to the side. The camera performed admirably and I was looking forward to the scans from The Darkroom. I'd never used a rangefinder in these lighting conditions before. A number of shots had considerable, and rather dramatic flare; something to normally be avoided. This particular shot though is rather interesting; to me anyway. Next time I take it out it'll have a hood I found that fits the lens, but in the meantime I'm grateful that bad shooting technique had some good results.

On close inspection, I notice some odd areas of manipulation in that image. A few are highlighted:

Top left is a clone of the top right.  Looks like an attempt to clone out some of the lens flare.  Could have been handled a little better.  The image still looks great though.
