My dream...M1 Mk3, without the white AF target grid.

Let's start a campaign.....

'Do-Away' with the white AF target grid. it  drives me nuts with all the Mk's I've had and the Mk3 to this day.

When the joystick is moved a 'white' AF target grid appears and covers the whole display obscuring the image, as we all know........

AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH.

THERE IS NO WAY TO TURN IT OFF.

Surely it's not beyond the 'techies' among all the other alternatives to provide an ON/FF feature.

I tried out a camera that had just such a feature, think it may have been a Z6, it was a dream.

A clear display with just the chosen AF target shown.....bliss.

Nikon Z6
