Vello Grip vs. OEM Nikon for D500?

Slowly gravitating towards getting a (used) D500 over a D7500 simply because Nikon doesn't offer a grip for the D7500 and the ones I've seen for that camera, are just a shutter button but no focus stick/pad or dials for aperture/shutter speed so IMO, a bit pointless.

I wanted to see what people thought of the Vello grip versus the OEM one from Nikon. For the amount of time I'd be using this camera (mainly for wildlife), I don't know if I can justify getting a $300-$400 grip for it (plus I need to get a vertical grip for my Z bodies as well anyway which is going to be expensive as well).

Mainly durability, and functionality (is it reliable or does it periodically have issues)?
