Camera Losing Power Quickly

I have a Sony A7rII that I use for nature landscapes, portraits, and some fun light-manipulation shots, and I love it. I recently got a capture card in order to use it for some video podcasting that I am debating doing. Problem is that during my test runs, the battery is dying rather quickly. I currently have a micro-hdmi to hdmi cable running from the camera to the capture card, and I have a standard apple usb charge brick (the tiny one) in conjunction with a black micro-usb charging cable (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012A1221Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Is there something that I should be doing in order to make sure that the pasive charging is enough to sustain 8+ hour long shooting with a single battery? Is this feasible?
