Regarding Glow EZ Lock Deep Parabolic Quick Softbox (48")

Hi Team,

I have bought Glow EZ Lock Deep Parabolic Quick Softbox (48") to start my OCF journey.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CXMZ351/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_3?smid=A17MC6HOH9AVE6&psc=1

I am trying to open the softbox. The part to put the latch by pressing the ring is a nightmare. I struggled a lot to get this done. Taking lot of energy and pressure to put this on work.

1. Does anybody have similar struggling experience regarding the same ? if not I can assume there is something wrong with my item and look for replacement.

2. What alternatives I can look for in similar price range (around 100$)

3. Is parabolic lights are more better than octabox ? Or it provides more flexibility to try different techniques ?

4. Can I get same results with similar size octabox ? for eg https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H91VH4M/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_4?smid=AXMUIZJIVJC31&psc=1

5. Can I go for 2 small softboxes in almost similar price?

6. Is one big softbox(40ish octabox/parabolic) with magmod combination is good enough ?

My plan is to do more outdoor shoots. Hence I need something which I can setup easily with little effort ?

Thanks a Lot

P.S: I have 2 AD200 Pro and AD-B2
