Re: Future of Canon M Series - Invest or Sell?

Last year I managed to pick up a bargain M100 along with the standard zoom lenses. I'm enjoying using the camera enough that I'm planning to sell my 70D and start saving towards a FF mirrorless setup. At the minute I'm mostly using adapted EF-S glass with the camera and although it adds bulk I'm happy enough with it.
Seeing the suggested roadmap forward for Canon lenses, I'm concerned about the support of the M series moving forward. Obviously the focus is on the RF system.
Is it worth investing in more M glass? Should I be steering clear and trying to sell my M lenses before they lose value - if they will?
Thanks
It depends what you want .if you want an enthusiast camera with a EVF you are not going to get that now never mind down the road the M mount is not going to go away any time soon but what canon will do is as lower end FF R bodys come available then the top M cameras won't be replaced as to not step on thier toes that's why we get no M5mk2 and why i get an R6...so whether we get a M6mk3 thats not just a firmware upgrade i don't know i think canon will release a RP with no EVF for much less than the RP in this or next year
the biggest problem i have is replacing the EF-M 11-22 (it will be the last lens i sell)..the cheapis FF lens that will match its IQ is the EF16-35F4is..
if the lower end cameras are fine for you like the M200 or the M50 thay will be updated for a long time and can probably make the best IQ to size ratio there is

the EOS M is not dead and wont be for a long time ....as long as you don't want a flagship camera with a VF...if that's the case it died sometime ago

There is no argument for FF vs APS-c (or m43) with shallow DOF..as it's a law of physics and a very subjective personal thing if you want to make use of the shallow DOF only FF can offer
