Awful blue fringing, Tamron 28-200mm @200mm

This lens performs well at shorter FLs (plenty of other posts on this forum so I won't elaborate on that), but I recently saw this really bad blue/violet fringing at the edges of the shot at 200mm. Take a look at the image below (view it full screen or zoomed in). It goes away somewhere between 150-200mm, but I haven't quantified that.

profile correction & chromatic aberration  were applied in LR but it made no difference if I removed that.

Tamron 28-200mm, blue on edges?

Can other owners of this lens verify if they get this too, or if it's only my copy?
