Is Red Dot Flare known in the Sony world ?

Good Day Sony community,

I have a problem with my Fuji and Nikon mirrorless cameras which is called Red Dot Flare;
best described here:

https://photographylife.com/fuji-x-trans-flare-ghosting-issue

When shooting against the sun it can happen at times that sensor reflections lead to a pattern of red dots, which I find quite unpleasing.

My question here is, if such Red Dot Flare happens with Sony cameras & lenses as well, or if Sony managed to reduce or eliminate this effect in some way ?

Please be aware that the effect is scene dependent; so it can easily be that you never encountered it. What I’m really looking for is the response of someone who is familiar with this effect, either with his/her Sony camera, or maybe due to a Fuji or Nikon history, and who can tell me if Sony is doing better/equal/worse in this regard.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards, Peter
