How to get a 1:1 macro image with a 1 foot stand off distance?

I have the 60 mm f2.8 macro a 300mm f4 Pro EM1 Marklll and have quite enjoyed taking macros this last year. With the 60mm macro lens 1:1 distance is only in inches which often spook insects. I can get good 1:0.3 macros with the 300 but loose detail when cropped to 1:1.  I also have the STF 8 twin flash which works nicely at a foot distance but is too small a ring for the 300. Is there a way to get 1:1 macros at 1 foot distance using the 60mm macro lens or is there a longer focal length macro lens that will do the same and allow the 62mm max ring thread size of the STF8 flash to be used?

Any ideas would be welcome?
