Pentax M28/3.5 on Fuji x-t20

This classic, forty-year-old lens has a good reputation in Pentax circles. I’ve even been pretty happy with it on my full-frame Pentax body, but it really shines on APS-C where the corners and edges get cropped. I took it to the forest today, to give it a go. Most of these were shot at F/5.6 or F/8. The first is stitched from 3 frames. All done with K&F adapter on my x-t20. Ignore the "50mm" listed in the EXIF. I forget to select "28mm" in the menu system.

I’ve got a Meike 28/2.8 coming Monday and will be interested to compare results.

'At our best and most fortunate we make pictures because of what stands in front of the camera, to honor what is greater and more interesting than we are. We never accomplish this perfectly, though in return we are given something perfect -- a sense of inclusion. Our subject thus redefines us, and is part of the biography by which we want to be known.' --Robert Adams, Why People Photograph
