2 Questions for R6 shooters who shoot baseball, from a Sony guy

I'm trying to make a good recommendation for someone who wants to shoot HS baseball and get similar results to what I get with my Sony A9.

I use the A9 with either the 100-400GM or the 200-600G, depending on the size of the field, in daylight. Under the lights I use the A9 with a Sigma EF 120-300/2.8 and Sigma MC11 EF to E adaptor. [I used to be a 1DX shooter.] That works great, except my max frame rate is 10 fps instead of 20 fps with native E mount glass.

So here are my questions:

  1. Does the R6 work well with the EF Sigma 120-300/2.8 and the Canon EF to R adaptor? If it does, is 20 fps still possible in electronic shutter mode with this combination?
  2. Is the R6 good enough at high ISOs like 51,200 to allow you to shoot with the 100-500 RF lens and skip getting the 2.8 lens entirely?
Now I know no camera is going to be as good at 51,200 as it is at 12,800 - which is usually where I am under the lights with my 2.8 and A9. When I try to shoot my A9 with my 100-400GM at 5.6 under the lights at ISO 25,600, I get something like this:

So how would the R6 look in comparison at 25,600 or at 51,200? [I can't show you a 51,200 shot because the A9 won't shoot above 25,600 in electronic shutter mode.]

Obviously if you can shoot the R6 at ISOs like 51,200 and get decent results - not great, I know, but decent - it makes it easier for someone just starting out in baseball photography for their kids to invest in an R6.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
