Why film vs. digital?
1

I got my first dslr in 1967 and shot film for almost 40 years. I applauded digital because I was tried of maybe getting 3 or 4 decent prints out of a 36 exposure roll of film and it was relatively expensive to get it developed, processed and prints made. But maybe it was the shooter. Anyway I read that film is somewhat making a comeback. What am I missing? Is is that with film the photographer gets to pat himself/herself on the back because the photos weren't manipulated or what?
