Tamron 16-300 VS Tamron 18-400. Any thoughts?

Hello,

I want to ask you this... I am using a Tamron 16-300 quite alot. And I like this lens. It gives quite awesome (for an ultrazoom) IQ. When stopped down to 8 it fives sharp picture from corner to corner and that is very important for me, it allow to use it for daytime landscape photography quite well. The other important thing is it's effective VR.

But, since I switched to Nikon Z50, 16-300 is not fully operational. It works, but with some heavy hunting on long end...

So I am looking at Tamron 18-400.

Maybe there are people who made such a switch? From 16-300 to 18-400? How it compares?

Is sharpness from corner to corner achievable with 18-400 on short end (when closed down of course)?

It it's stabilization system is as effective as 16-300s? (with 16-300 I can shoot 1/25 at 300mm!)

And, if you have some pictures from 18-400, please share them with me.

Thank you!
