Interesting pairing: K-1 with Industar 50/3.5

Just got an Industar 50/3.5 from Russia - a mass produced clone of the Leitz Elmar - in very good condition. It's - of course - an all manual M42 lens with a minimum focus distance of about 0.65 meters, and aperture closing down to f16, and it's really interesting looking in its very tiny size on the K-1:

It's so tiny in diameter that it barley reaches the inner perimeter of the K-mount. Its performance? Stopped down sharp enough - after all it's a Tessar design - but honestly you don't get lenses like this to exploit its excellent sharpness stopped down.

No, what's to like here is its soft rendering wide open, its acceptance of flare ;-), or for short: its vintage rendering.

Here some quick test shots, all taken wide open at f3.5:

Absolutely okay IMO - especially considering that this vintage "look" comes to you for only 13 Euro.

Hope you like what you see!
