X-T1 still viable backup camera? And how's the WR?

Never used this one, just wondering if it's still a viable backup camera?

Thinking of picking up one cheap solely for the purpose of having a WR backup option for hiking or street paired with my 23mm f2 when the weather gets nasty. This looks like the cheapest/smallest way to do it.

I picked up X-E series (X-E3) again recently and forgot how much I enjoyed having a super-compact rangefinder cam to shoot with. This is my camera and shooting style. It's all I need.

I had thought about X-T2, or X-T3, but honestly I don't see myself using and carrying it much, I mainly just want the WR, and was hoping the X-E4 would bring it.
