I have been curious about digital infrared photography for a while, and I was wondering if anybody out there was shooting infrared with Fuji gear and wanted to talk about it. I think I would be interested primarily in walk around and plant photography, using prime lenses and jpeg output.

What kind of infrared camera do you use? Can you have an existing camera converted? What lenses work best? Does shooting infrared require any dramatic changes to technique or workflow?

I have an X-E2 converted by lifepixel . Coats around $250 and works great. If I had to do it again I would go with full spectrum because you can then add filters as desired.
