Overhead camera mount

Anyone out there that uses an overhead camera mount like the "OH 150 Modular Overhead" bracket.

did you buy their stands or use you own.

I have two smith victor, two impact, and two SP systems , not be in used.

I am not initially planning to use for anything but my 6D2 / battery grip. I won't be mounting any of my lighting until later. I am not sure if any of my stands are rated for that load.

The brackets are rated to 25lbs for a 4 foot  span or 20 lbs for an  8 foot.  The unit itself  weighs 20 lbs and I am assuming that is all three pairs of 4 foot each, so around 13lbs plus camera divided by two.

Just curious before I buy. Not sure what my stands are rated.

Also just curious as to whether anyone uses this setup rather than a standard Tripod

Maybe a boom would be cheaper.
