If you could have an XC version of one lens to cut costs what would it be?

I would take a 10-24mm XC version

I rarely use an UWA unless traveling In places like Rome's Colosseum.

So even a used XF 10-24mm is £500

My Canon EF-S 10-18mm had excellent IQ and although plastic build and lens mount I didn't mind as I only used it sometimes when travelling.

I can get a used SL1 and 10-18 for £200 less than a used XF 10-24. I know the XF lens is built better and a stop faster but that doesn't bother me really as it has IS (as does the Fuji) and £500 is too much for me to spend.

So I'd buy an XF 10-something at the price of an EF-S 10-18 all day long

I bet everyone secretly wishes there would be an XC version of one lens

(Before anyone says the brick or 40-150 F2.8, obviously never going to happen on a RED BADGE lens ha ha)
