Seeing that this 32 mm lens is universally so highly regarded, I went to buy one yesterday. Man it is really a fantastic lens!!

A must have lens !!!!!

I’m kind of old-fashioned and still use Servo with Spot AF for most everything,

(snip)

ps. For action shooting, be sure to keep your shutter speed up. Don’t be afraid to shoot wide open. The M6ii’s AF is definitely up to task.

Not sure if the AF of the M6mkII is as good in subject tracking mode for action compared to doing things in "your" "old fashioned way."

Right. I've found the standard Spot AF to be uncannily good. Close to 100% keeper rates at times. The "Tracking" AF (including Eye Detect) needs a bit more to chew on, and works best when you can fill the frame as much as possible.

This is the case on even the R5,

Hm.

I might rent one.

I'm willing to pay 4500 euro to get in heaven, however, it should be heaven and nothing less really at that price.

though the R5 is certainly more adept.
