Agree. Most of mid-range smartphone (e.g. iPhone SE 2020 $399) main rear camera has OIS.

Since smaller APS-C Ricoh GR III has IBIS, no reason larger Fujiflm X100V can't doing. Nobody request IBIS must > 5 stops.

smells like Fuji is playing the "holding back" game to insure future cams will be more appealing while doling out "improvements" as if they've accomplished the impossible

Yeah, how horrible that company is to be making such a great camera better over time... I mean the balls on them to have a plan for the future that fits their company.

Yeah, the new lens, stronger ND filter, better EVF, WR, tilt screen, and better ISO dial sure are examples of Fuji holding back in the X100V. /s
