Hello everyone!

I have been struggling to make a decision between the xh1 x-t4 and xs10...!

I only shoot stills with my humble D700, FE and F3 with only manual lenses, but am really eager to film and do something more of my cinema degree!

I realize that any of those Fuji cameras will be a huge jump in technology and I will have to find a new ground, but even though I tend to lean towards a new (or 2nd hand) xt4, I see amazing deals on xh1 (900$ with grip and only 950 actuations).

having never used a fully modern body, I’d really need some insight on this. The xs10 is there because it’s basically so much cheaper, but still more expensive than xh1.

Is it better to buy brand new? Is the xh1 a good value? What would you do if you were me? 😅

I've owned two D700s and now have an XS10. I could have saved for another month and get the XT4, or got a used XH1. For me the XS10 was most of the good of those two, with the least bad of them all. It's REALLY small and compact but still with a nice big grip. It has IBIS, not quite as good as the XT4 but close and better than the XH1.

I also was not willing to buy used to save $50 and forgo a standard warranty. I buy used a lot but if price is very similar, new is always preferred. One more reason, i've adapted 3 EF lenses so far and the XH1 is an older gen sensor and doesn't work quite as well with the Fringer adapter.

I could make due with any of them for sure but for me, the XS10 was the best mix of features for the price and i love it, quite a camera. My vote would be for the XS10 but it comes down to what features you value most vs price.
