I agree, my greatest problem by far is the useless manual focus ring. The least they can do is make it properly dampened, linear, with distance indicators, and with hard stops.

Since the sensor and the OVF have parallax shifts, I would expect with the proper calibration, a possibility of an actual rangefinder experience in which the tiny EVF patch is shifted until the OVF/EVF images match. Maybe they would need to increase the brightness of the EVF, but I can't think of another reason why it couldn't work.
