My saying was that you should never ask a customer what they want, because the answer will be something that cannot be built and for a price that could never be achieved.

Disagree. Dual USH-II card slots are simple and did not cost any since X100V has same processor as X-T3 (which has dual USH-II card slots).

Since Fujifilm managed to add WR without increase the size and cost of ultra-compact XF 27mm F2.8 R WR, so possible X100V has full WR without increase cost.

Since Fujifilm XC 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ, $899 Ricoh GR III and $399 iPhone SE 2020 has IS/IBIS, $1400 X100V without any IS seem like not so competitive...

I agree that all manufacturer dream their product continue good selling without any improvement. But, consumer may choose other product which provide better features or stay with existing gears without upgrade.

Yes, but you have listed 3 things. My point is that this thread lists dozens of things. Not all can be achieved at the same time. Now if you want a camera designed just for you, I get that. But there has to be a large enough market, not just a few.

Respectfully, Don
