On my X-T30 it was fine, maybe a bit slower than my 35/1.4 but only just a bit. As for hunting, maybe once out of a few hundred shots at normal ranges did it activity hunt and that was in pretty dismal light.

At macro ranges it still hunts a bit more than any other lens but if I’m taking shots at those distances I’m typically on static subjects like droplets and flowers since I don’t do any macro of insects so it’s never been an issue.

That said, the 60/2.4 is easily my favorite lens I have. Sharp across the frame at all apertures, incredibly light and small for its focal length (just leave the hood at home) and has amazing contrast and rendering characteristics. It’s only drawbacks is that it was labeled a macro lens and it’s AF was notoriously slow on older frames which has since been fixed but honestly it’s easily up there with the best glass fuji makes so long as you’re using a modern frame.
