When I first saw this thread a day or two ago, when it was first started I thought 'oh Lord here we go'.

I think the x100v is pretty much perfect in the way it functions and the images it produces.

Not to denigrate the many thoughtful responses, but many of these would render the camera into something totally different from what it is and what it's meant to be - like putting a big ol V8 in a miata.

I think the x100 should be about purity and simplicity - less buttons less menus. less less less. My 60s vintage olympus 35rc comes to mind. Fuji has plenty of platforms for folks who want or need every technological tweak and optical option. The x100 should be about minimalism.

So with that in mind I propose losing the front scroll wheel which mars the smooth front surface for no reason, and implementing the xpro3 flip down screen to make it look even more like a film camera (Alas I realize this screen is so polarizing that it will never ever see the light of day in another fuji camera). Oh- and boy oh boy do I want that dura black coating on an x100 camera.
