I used to have an M100 with 22mm. When I realised that it was taking better pictures (for my use cases), was more fun, and I was taking it more places and taking more photos with it (than the 6D) I decided to move to the EOS-M system. I ended up with an M6ii instead as having 2 control dials, a hot shoe and an optional viewfinder are important for me, along with the eye AF.

If you are enjoying the M100 and mainly just want to add the eye-AF what about the smaller M200? Or you might be able to find an M6ii second hand for close to the M50ii new price?
