Actually I agree with all these points.

The cons of Sony: stopped down focusing and poor handling.

If you’re using Sigma lenses, you also get a 1.5x crop with Sony vs EFM.

Again, an important advantage. It will get you more blur when the subject has the same size in the frame. It will also give a nicer angle of view with the 56mm f/1.4., something Rlight might find important The sigma 30mm might get a tad too wide though, which can be slightly annoying especially given the fact there's no 32mm for the Sony mount.

Each to his own, but I would prefer a 67mm lens on a 1.5 crop. 56mm on a 1.6 crop is just a little too close for my comfort zone.

Yeah, o.k., it's a matter of preference too, granted.

It's all a bit academic for me as the M50II hasn't reached the right side of the Atlantic yet and it's just that bit bigger than I'm looking for in an APS-C camera.

I'm curious what the introduction price will be.

I still like my original M50 but we are lying to ourselves by saying that other offerings are DOA vs the m50ii.

I love 50mm (equivalence)
