Re: which way to go from the XE2

I am one of the first purchasing the X-100 10 years back..
this was the moment when my 5Dx Models got more and more dust-collectors...
in the following times I had the first X-Pro model, but I realized that I used nearly never the optical viewfinder, because a well-adapted EVF (individually adapted to your personal needs) is heaven on earth.
Nobody needs to „see more than just your frame“ of the szene using the OVF... just open your left eye for a second and you see much more of the szene with your left eye, at the same time ALL you need to know with the right eye in the EVF...
so I sold the X-Pro when the X-E1 hit the market...and purchased two X-E1.
I still used the two X-E1 until last year, when Fujifilm told us to abandon the X-E models.
I got panic and bought one of the latest X-E3 available. And I still like it a lot!
lots of X-E fans went disappointed about that decision and so Fujifilm continued the X-E models. BUT... the X-E4 has nearly nothing really innovative in comparison with the X-E3.
I recommend to stay with the X-E2 - or to go for the X-E3. There are still new ones for 50% off !
image quality of the X-E3 is excellent and the autofocus system is very advanced.
this is also very useful for MF with third party primes because it helps a lot using Focus peaking doing MF!
Yesterday I ordered the novoflex mechanical adapter for all my 12 old Leica R-Primes and I am looking forward to use them besides my Fujifilm lenses on my X-E3.
I am one of the „grandfathers“ who know how to handle manually lenses since decades before the digital revolution and used them mostly even on my 5D models.
But my favorite body is now the X-T4 (which I will use besides the X-E3) because this body is really a big step forward for my type of photogaphic demands. For example the IBIS will give you at least 4 EVs advantage even with your Olympus primes... not to underestimate for your type of photography (street, available light,..)
