Re: Sony A99II (or any slt) Life span

I have an A77 I bought new about 7 years ago. I had stopped  using it for about a year until recently, where I’m reconnecting with it again.  And to show you how much I haven’t used it, my shutter count is less than 2,200.

I was worried that the internal battery had lost charge and wouldn’t change again, but that wasn’t the case - charged up my batteries and let the camera sit overnight, and it was good to go the next morning with no issues.  I’ve since bought a Sony HVL-F58AM flash that I wanted early on, and should be receiving that shortly.

Based on the high shutter counts I’m hearing with these cameras I think I should be good with it for quite some time!
