In the first photo it looks like the horse might be to close to the camera. It usually says on the lens how close you can get. You could try to take multiple photos using multiple focus distances and combining them. Though I think this would be easier to do in camera. The gx80 added this in firmware and its also on the fz80.

Some Panasonic cameras also have what's called post focus were you can select the focusing point after you taken the picture the fz80 and the gx80 supports this as well.

The fz80 is a big improvement over the fz70. Stills image quality is similar if not identical but the rest of the camera has been dramatically improved. The display is much higher resolution for one and uses a touchscreen. An evf that is actually usable. Oh and the fz80 can take 4k video. In a lot of ways the fz80 is a bit like if you took my gx80 and married it to my old fz70.
